New Construction Project Uses PACE Financing for first time

The Westin Hotel in downtown Milwaukee, WI was the first new construction project to use PACE financing to make energy efficiency upgrades. With the passing of Assembly Bill 5 in May, 2017 this opens the door to allow Liberty Energy Partners to direct fund energy efficiency, water efficiency and renewable energy technologies for new construction commercial buildings with 100% financing that is spread out over twenty years and is repaid through an assessment on the property tax bill. If the owner sells the property, the assessment transfers with the building to the new owner.
